Media/film practitioners who have either dealt with child narratives in their work or who have worked with children in making films are invited to take part in the Dorothy Project. Practitioners will be interviewed to discuss their intentions and strategies in representing childhood and child-centred narratives, and to discuss their response to specific films. These interviews will be used together with other aspects of the study in order to examine the portrayal of migration and childhood on film. Interviews may be conducted face-to-face, or via the internet (e.g. Skype), and remain confidential. Published results will not identify individual participants, and participants can withdraw at any time.
You will receive a full media practitioner information sheet and consent form when you are asked to participate in the project.
